Questions
The fine print, legible.
- What counts as a document?
- Each successfully generated PDF counts once against your monthly quota. Failed generations are not counted.
- What are AI authoring calls?
- Calls that create or revise a template with AI. Generating PDFs from a finished template never uses AI, so authoring is metered separately and generation stays fast and deterministic.
- Do unused documents roll over?
- No. Quotas reset at the start of each billing month.
- What happens if I run past my quota?
- Further requests are declined with a clear error until you upgrade or the month resets. Nothing is silently billed.
- Can I change plans at any time?
- Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply from the next billing cycle.
- Do I need a credit card to start?
- No. The free plan needs only an email address, and it never expires.
- Does the free plan brand my documents?
- Yes. Live renders on the free plan carry a small “Generated with doclinth” badge. Any paid plan removes it and lets you set a custom watermark instead. Test renders are for development and don’t count against your quota.
